Star Bay Hotel

My family and l kind of regularly using their service when our family decide to stay in Lumut. The building, services, room, cleanliness etc are the best. We will again continue to stay at their place, everytime we visit Lumut.

Well, we're know that everything is not always perfect. Some furniture are not in good condition, but we're fine with it. So, if you want to improve, then you can improvise a bit your furniture etc For safety of your future customers later yaa..

My mum left her wallet, fortunately the staff did call and whatsapp ASAP. Such a good and honest staff. And the hotel is near to many facilities.

price ok with room condition.Good effort hotel to provided water dispenser.

Tv can't used. Not pick up call when u call at reception.

Good access to market, laundry, restaurant,petrol station, car wash

Hair dryer cannot use, sofa cushion is worst, air cond was not cool enough, room is very noisy at night because near to the road.. but very recommended n value for money.

No breakfast was included in the booking.

I booked 5 rooms. The ground floor room no 108. There are croaches crawling around. Surprisingly one Centipede crawling inside the bathroom too. Luckily it didn't bite my uncle. Also the room filled with too much fragrant smell. My wife can't stand it. Need to open the door to let out the fragrant for awhile. At 2nd floor room 107, TV only show 1 indian program only. Possible the decoder got problems.

A lot of small cockroaches once we entered the room. Asked for spray - don't have, wanted to change room - no other room availableUnpleasant smell in the room Beds - didn't mentioned about the queen size no bed, only mattress provided. I only got to know when i saw the photo during check in processPillows all 'lembik' and not comfortable at allWater heater not functioningTV for deco purpose only-no channels availableNot worth to pay the amount whereas i can actually get homestay with the same price.. I strongly not recommend this hotel to others. Sorry

Cleanliness and the environment are good.

Toilet produce some bad odor (not sure because of the mould or the sewage pipe) but its clean i like it.just the smell.

Last min deal. Our room is at the next building. Just on top of the mini market. High n steep floor (3rd floor) with no lift. Not suitable for family with small kids n elders.But the room very clean n nearby with eateries, laundrymat n 5mins drive to beach.

They give us another place to stay. A room beside the hotel (rumah kedai). The bed is hard as rock and smelly.

Location is great. Restaurants and convenient store only few step away .
